Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has splurged millions of naira to buy himself a Tesla cybertruck.
Naija News reports that the singer made this known in a post via Instagram.
The latest addition to Davido’s garage shows his intense love for cars.
Giving reasons for buying the luxury ride, Davido claimed he was bored and decided to switch things up in his garage.
He wrote, “I was bored and added the Cyber!! @blacktycoone war ur tracky ship dey wait!!.”
The Tesla Cybertruck, designed by Elon Musk’s Tesla, Inc., is a battery-powered vehicle known for its unconventional design and cutting-edge technology.

Meanwhile, Davido has stated that he gets special treatment in foreign countries due to his celebrity status.
According to the singer, he receives invitations to dine with the presidents in every country he goes to, except for the United States of America and the United Kingdom.
Davido said his fans in other countries treats him like the president.
He stated this during a recent interview with Kiss Fresh London.
Davido boasted that his fanbase includes the World Bank president, presidents of powerful nations, and other powerful people.
He said, “Every country we go to, the President invites us for dinner except London [United Kingdom] and the United States of America.
“It’s beautiful to see. I mean, leaving my country, Nigeria, and people welcoming me like the president in other countries, shows how well Nigeria is doing around the world in terms of music and cultural impacts.”
