Although many pundits tagged it as a case of ‘no victor no vanquished’ this past Sunday at Enyimba International Stadium, Bankole declared that it was an emotional victory for him and his teammates.

“For me, I am very, very excited that we picked this point.

“I am very, very happy; because we know how very important it is for us to get that point.

“The point kept us at the top of the table. I am also glad because it was my first clean sheet of the season.

“So, I am glad, I am happy, I am excited for the whole team,” Bankole said with exhilaration.
