The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has congratulated the Super Eagles and Nantes forward, Moses Simon as he achieved his 150th appearance milestone in Ligue 1.
At 29 years old, Moses Simon holds the record of being one of Nigeria’s longest-serving Ligue 1 players, and his remarkable achievement was acknowledged by his club following his milestone appearance in Nantes’ 1-1 draw with Angers on September 29.
Simon contributed to his club’s draw by setting up his team’s only goal of the match, scored by Johann Lepenant, marking his 29th assist for the club and breaking the previous record held by Emiliano Sala.
The NFF, along with various stakeholders in the world of football, joined in celebrating Moses Simon’s achievement. The NFF took to their official Instagram page to extend their congratulations to Simon, saying: “Congratulations to our very own superstar Moses Simon on reaching 150 games in Ligue 1.”
Also, the official Ligue 1 X page celebrated Simon’s achievement and labelled him “indispensable.”
